1980 NFL Game Program Art

From 1979 through 1983 it was common for most NFL game programs (called Pro! or Pro! Gameday) to be adorned with art on the cover. We will cover all the pertinent seasons, but we are starting with 1980. It was the second season every team had a unique piece of art on the cover and among the most colorful.

1980 featured some of the real heavyweight NFL artists like Merv Corning, Chuck Ren, Bart Forbes, Cliff Sponn (as John Keating from Dead Poets Society might say "the biggies"), so let the art roll of your eyes like honey. Or whatever mixed metaphor you can think of.
